Delicious Homemade ketchup recipe
What you will need:
1 can tomato paste
2 cups water
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup pitted dates
1 tbsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp grounded mustard seed
1 garlic clove
1/4 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp salt (optional)
For quick and easy homemade ketchup, Heat on stove until desired ketchup consistency (about 10-15 minutes on medium to low heat with lid). If you have the time, it tastes best to let it simmer on stove for 1 hour, stirring every so often.
Let it cook in fridge for at least an hour then blend in a high power blender on high for about a minute until a smooth consistency.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
