WEIGHT LOSS MOTIVATION || HOW YOUR THOUGHTS COULD BE HOLDING YOU BACK

Welcome back to inspired to health today I want to share with you quickly a Motivational message it just kind of came to me, and I really wanted to share it with you So this is it guys

I was listening to my two-year-old and His language is always the same It's on repeat all the time and I was thinking about how frustrating that is and I was very quickly reminded that I'm not much different than he is that my Language is often always the same, and it's on repeat and what I mean by that is that my language is often negative language with other people I don't always speak highly of myself or positively about myself to other people sometimes It's hard to accept compliments from other people and really like You know absorb that compliment and believe that it's true it's hard for me sometimes to have positive self-talk throughout the day to myself in my own mind and so I Want to challenge you to think about your language and? Is your language always on repeat and what does that sound like is it positive is it? Encouraging you is it pushing you forward is it telling you the truth about yourself Because if it's not then it's not helping you on your weight-loss journey That is a huge huge part of your weight loss journey is what is going on in your mind? If you don't have positive things going on in your mind your actions are not going to be positive It is a fact that what is going through our minds that our thoughts become our actions that we live out eventually What is happening in our mind and so you really want to? focus on what's happening up here before you had are worried about what's happening on the outside because What happens on the outside is controlled by what happens in your mind, so what do you believe about yourself? Do you have some positive things that you can say about yourself every day? Are you willing and able to accept a? Compliment from somebody when they give it to you you need to believe the best about yourself in order to Continue to move forward in your weight loss journey if you're constantly putting yourself down saying things to yourself that you can't do it It's not worth the time You'll never get there You're never good enough those types of things are not going to help you they're holding you back and you've got to get rid of them I saw an e-card one time that said Sometimes you just got to tell the negative committee in your head to sit down and shut up And it's so true guys I do it all the time so my little toddler reminded me that although his language is limited right now a Lot of times our language is limited With ourselves and as we communicate about ourselves with other people we really need to expand our language we need to Start adding in positive language for ourselves, and it's really gonna help you it's gonna really push you forward So that is your challenge for today? Work on finding some positive language to add in to the way you communicate with yourself and with others Guys be well and until next time I'll see you then
